How it Works

Check out the licenses section just below for information on which type of license meets your needs. You can also preview all license agreements in the license info section.

Important Details:

Each .mp3 and .wav version of every beat comes with both a "mixed" and a "pre-mastered" version. A mixed beat has no mastering effects applied such as final eq, final compression, limiting etc. plus has approx. 6 dB of headroom. Each pre-mastered .mp3 and .wav file is big, loud and ready to go. Use whichever you like.

Most tracked-out stem files come raw so you have full control of how your vocals and the beat are mixed together. Some stem files contain reverb, panning and other effects that are important to the sound of the file.

Thank you for stopping by - Gilly.

Free Beats

Need a free beat for a demo or YouTube video but don't want to pay for it?

Of course you do.

Head up to the music player, type "free" in the search bar to find free beats.

Just provide your name and an email address to send the download link to and you get a 320 Mbps MP3 file to use in your next non-profit project. Nice!

FAQ

What if two people buy the same beat?

Each person will be able to copyright, sell, distribute, broadcast and perform their own song that they make with the beat keeping all of their royalties. The copyright for the beat alone is still owned GillyBeats. The copyright for the song (lyrics + beat) that each person creates belongs to them and they are able to distribute it with the rights granted to them by the GillyBeats license agreement.

Do you use samples?

No. GillyBeats are composed using licensed or copyright-free sounds. You do not have to worry about clearing any samples. Isn’t that nice?

Can I change beats after purchase or get a refund if I don’t use the beat?

No. There is a no refund policy on digitally delivered products. Please listen to any beat as many times as you would like in the audio player so you are sure to order the beats you know you like.

Can I change the beat after I buy it?

Yes. As a licensee you may chop, loop, speed up, slow down and add extra sounds to the instrumental as you prefer.

Are beats removed from the website once purchased?

No. When a non-exclusive beat is purchased it will remain on the site for sale to other. When an exclusive beat is purchased it will be listed as “SOLD” and will no longer be available for sale.

Why do some beats only have standard, premium or unlimited leases available?

If a beat is missing or only has a particular version available it means that the audio files for that license type have not been processed and uploaded to GillyBeats.com. We are currently working on making all versions of all beats available for purchase.
